Our evaluations cover numerous aspects of services which aim to assist business owners communicate with their team and customers and help consumers communicate with family and friends. Our evaluators are enthusiasts who are passionate about the products and services which they evaluate for Review Authority. Our communication enthusiasts are individuals who have worked in the communications industry and have utilized these various technologies in their professional careers.
For VOIP or Voice Over IP services, our evaluation involves a multiple step process which begins by utilizing the services offered. We also connect with customers of the service who use and have used the platform over time to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each platform. Not all products and services will make the cut, but the ones that do can be found on our monthly rankings.
The five main criteria which we use to evaluate all Voice Over IP services are as follows:
The first aspect of evaluation focuses on the voice clarity of the service. Our evaluators test the service to a variety of different services from the Voice Over IP line to test the clarity to land lines, cell phones, and other VOIP services.
Another aspect of evaluation is the features which are offered. Having a variety of features means offering customers more options for managing their VOIP line. Voicemail, call forwarding, and other related services add additional quality and usefulness to the service for customers.
The overall stability achieved by the service is also evaluated. Our evaluators test different aspects of stability ranging from the quality of the service over time, how well the service handles long calls, the amount of bandwidth the line uses, and the service uptime altogether.
Our evaluators also evaluate the international call plans and features of the service. International calling is becoming more popular amongst customers as individuals are becoming more interested in doing business and communicating around the world.
The available customer service is also evaluated. Our evaluators communicate with the customer service team to determine their ability to handle technical issues and service questions quickly and efficiently and to understand the concerns of their customers.
Once our certified evaluators and research team have done their due diligence, we combine this information and create our monthly rankings. These rankings are our opinions of which voice over IP services provide the best overall communication experience.
